HR terminate people who reject the the relocation notifications immediately

Guys be careful, if you reject the relocation notification you will be terminated immediately, don’t expect the two weeks time to get your things together, 5 employees in my office were walked to the door yesterday in a very humiliating way, they didn’t expect this to happen, some has banking apps on their phones they didn’t get the chance to transfer or delete the apps or delete the personal information

"...if you reject the relocation notification you will be terminated immediately"

So... we are to believe that there is someone standing by, at your location, over your shoulder, waiting for your on the spot decision?

Nonsense. Made up. Garbage.

All employees have received notice, so the time to be making final decisions on relocation is now. No additional time should be needed when employees are asked to commit. If you haven’t talked to family members and made a decision, you are behind.

drag the decision for as long as you can and in the mean time get ready with your own terms, they seem to have no idea what they are doing and things can change

The company has the right to terminate the employee who reject its policies
Why you complaining about the termination?
Or you needed more time to collect your things?

WOW just WOW!!!! I thought they gave you this notice via email, why was HR or security even at this place? This is very bizarre.

While I am sure it is typical or customary to give employees a timeframe to consider a relocation, I’m not sure there is a policy that prevents company from from making the employee make a snap decision.

“Per needs of the business your role is being moved to X location you have to move and we need your answer now.”

I was there in San Ramon office when this happened, it was sad to see the guy scream and shouting while walked to the door, I think he over reacted as well, his reaction made the security guys to push him out violently

Many companies do layoff for business reasons but in a respectful manner
Why AT&T is so different.
What is wrong with this company and it’s leaders who drive its policies

They don’t want employees who rejected the move to change their mind and pull out their rejection
Mafia style 😂

I guess be careful and study your moves before you say or write or respond any any notification you get.
This company is so desperate for any reason to fire people
