Thread regarding USAA layoffs

The Pendulum

We all know that the pendulum swings. This is why some of my colleagues refuse to go back to certain companies and they have a very bad reputation in industry.

It seems like not such a short time ago, talent was leaving USAA.

Doesn't USAA realize that what they are currently doing puts them into a new category of "do not work for this company"?

Before, we who stayed thought that folks moved for a a lot of reasons. Now, I think most question why anyone would stay if given a reasonable alternative.

With the Pulse survey, are they doing dastardly deeds and then asking "do you see us doing these things?" It is unbelievable!

That was the Pulse question. How likely are you to recommend USAA to a friend. I’m like zero - layoffs and four day RTO

USAA has quickly built up a reputation in the market as somewhere to avoid…..ask yourself a simple question: if a close friend or relative asked you whether they should pursue a job here, would you recommend it? Of course the answer is No, and that’s different than say 5 years ago. The company has lost its way!
There’s no loyalty and once they let you go, you will be forgotten in 6 months! Get out before you are shown the door and you are scrambling!

I get a feeling that the EEOC will be on site in the near future. This should be fascinating to see shake down.

USAA just had a banking/OCC regulatory problem with these consent orders. Now the way they are treating employees, firing people with impunity and treating them like cr-p, they are about to have an EEOC problem. Wouldn't be surprised if the next wave of issues at USAA will be employment/discrimination lawsuits. Everyone knows the mouth breathers in HR are a joke.
