Just got word that the letters coming out June 16th will be delayed. The new date is sometime in July. More to come...

This is crazy!! All of the articles I am reading are not correct. They are not being honest. Not everyone gets the option to relocate.. they said we will be notified if that is an option for us if not they will offer a severance package and Bye! Very sad business practice
I predict Stank man will get the AX before this all comes to fruition... chopping CEOs is the new norm... and he has earned to be chopped several years ago- but so far has been "Telfon Stank" but this will end.... So long Stank... dont let the door hit you in the rear end... no one here will miss you in fact we will have an ice cream social to celebrate!
““ Which VP is this?”
Mass markets”
Mass-market is not a VP. And Robertson is not a VP she is an EVP. So which VP in mass markets said the issue was resolved and the letters were going out on the 16th.

“My VP just announced roadblock cleared and letters going out 16th.”
Which VP is this?
My VP just announced roadblock cleared and letters going out 16th.
Everything Stinki touches is a failure. He said we have to move fast. Wonder if he checked dictionary and what FAST means. He made a clown of himelf.
Haha, like last time . First delays, then eventually it will go away. Such silliness
I can also, more or less, confirm the letters are being delayed, by a week, or possibly two. We still don't have any dates, were just told they're being delayed a bit, as people are asking.
My VP also shared this with me. It’s true
My read is Stankey and his merry bunch of fools got feedback that the majority of people are unwilling to relocate and have to figure out how to proceed. Typical AT&T; all hat no cattle.
My AVP just shared this with me as well.
"They have to keep the Dec 31 deadline since T usually wants people off the books by new year."
They don't need to keep the Dec 31 deadline to relocate to accomplish that.
Send notification in August. You get 2 weeks to decide. If you decline to relocate, your off payroll by September, well before the new year. If you accept, you agree to report to new location by X date.

"I strongly believe that this edict to relocate to one of the designated hubs will ultimately be rescinded due to its inherent complexity. Don't worry folks, this will all come crashing down on T just like the debt that it's carrying!"
Well, then the severance is offered to me, I'm not sticking around to find out. Enough is enough.
"Yeah, just got the notification. They are now saying first week of August for most orgs, with 31 Dec still the target date to relocate."
If this is true, then it shows they REALLY don't want anyone relocating. What's next? Give people 2 weeks to relocate? In today's market, even 6 months is a very short timeframe to plan, prepare, list, sell, close, search, offer, close, move... it's stressful enough, now they will expect people to do it in 4 months? Personally, I can see them pushing notifications back, but I can't see them keeping the Dec 31 date at the same time.

Not sure I believe this. No one, including L3s in my division of Robertson have been told this.
I wish they would just post updates those things somewhere. Don't see updates on yammer. L3s in my group haven't gotten an update. I thought we worked for a communications company.

What specifically is the first week of Aug? The new notification?
More time is needed to finalize the severance package updates.
It’s almost as if they have no idea what they’re doing.

They still don’t have a clue how to implement the policy. Lol
