Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

A hundred million customers, and we’re still bankrupt.

Did anyone on the SLT (senior leadership team) go to business school? We’re they all sick the day they taught the lesson on maximizing the stock price.

Most of Randall's bad decisions were made by Stankey when he was Chief Strategy Officer. Randall as CEO should have said no, but it was Stankey's idea to buy DTV.

AT&T is run like government.

We just keep increasing the limits to borrow acting like we are going to turn it around. Instead it’s average employees who pay the price.

Well along with Randy's record bad decision streak, the entire organization is set up to reward results of scorecards, rather than actual business or revenue growth. As long as the supporting KPIs are solid, we're good!

Stankey jumps from one shiny bright idea to the next. At every stop he puts it on the shareholder's and balance sheet tab. It isn't his money.
