Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

I don't have a chance as I am in Tulsa. But what I am instantly going to do is

switch my family plan over to Metro PCS, Visible, or Cricket. I heard all their networks are far better than ATT and I get pretty much the same rate plans at 30-40% off my ATT Employee Plan. 9 Years wasted at this company and they were wasted. Nobody wants ATT employees especially if you are 35-40 and older. You are seen as a dinosaur.

You’ve worked here 9 years and don’t know Cricket is AT&T? Good riddance.

Definitely not better. Consumer cellular is the next best option to cut cost. I bought cheater phones and T-Mobile & Verizon both cheat their prepaid customers out of 4glte and unless you’re planning on paying $65 per month it’s hardly a deal. Most consumer have absolutely no idea and just deal with dropped calls and 480p content. Unless you’re using Wi-Fi the data connection is maybe 7-15mbps. Download and maybe 1 on the upload. Don’t forget your device needs to be 5g as well. Do you really want to buy all new phones? It’s easy to do business with AT&T. We are spoiled. Keep your job and service. Problem solved I didn’t even touch on hot spots and connected devices. You can’t have it all with mvo.

I’m in Okc and I am switching to T mobile. They have great coverage and the price is comparable to the discounted att price

Mint Mobile / TMO, price is better than Fi as long as you stay in the US.

Well, Cricket is AT&T, I'm not sure about others. Google Fi might also be a decent option. They offer a 7-day trial to make their network works for you.
