Yes you do! If you have 30 years of continuos and loyal service with Dell, no PIPs on record, at least 25 worthless acrylic awards on your desk (like mvp, manager's pet, team player, quarter or yearly top g-n, brown nose extraordinaire), then you're entitled to get an engraved commemorative 18K gold Rolex, use of the corporate jet (subject to availability -can't use it when any Dell senior executives have called dibs on it for their personal use-), a plaque with your name on it to be displayed gloriously in the tunnel between buildings 7 & 8 near the entrance to the cafeteria, but most impotantly the admiration of your fellow Dell employees -past and present- for having put up with all the BS, favoritism, gas lighting, nepotism, deplorable managers, constant desk relocations, retaliatory Tell-Dell surveys for so many years. Else you're just quitting or getting layed off like all the rest of us (who put up with the same BS, but only for less years). Enjoy you retirement!
If you choose to retire, you can work one on one with a Dell HR person that will direct you on the best time to retire to gain the most from bonus, they honestly can be helpful
You can use 401k money invested while at Dell with no penalty...or a small penalty if you retire before 62...or something like that. It only works for the money invested while at Dell, not other companies.
You get a red stapler.
Just quit, but don’t tell them. You get bonus checks until your severance date.
Its just quitting
