As of June 7, 2023, AT&T Inc. has a total debt of $193.8 billion. This includes both long-term debt and short-term debt. The company's long-term debt is $167.3 billion, and its short-term debt is $26.5 billion. AT&T's debt-to-equity ratio is 4.1, which is considered to be high. The company's debt load has been increasing in recent years, as it has made a number of acquisitions, including Time Warner in 2018. AT&T is expected to continue to have a high debt load in the future, as it faces increasing competition from other telecommunications companies. As you can see, AT&T's debt has been increasing steadily over the past few years. This is a cause for concern, as it could make it difficult for the company to repay its debt if its financial performance declines. AT&T is a sinking ship.

I wet my pants when I hear the word "pants".
my personal debt to equity ratio is 0.0000025
Every dollar used to service debt is cash that isn't invested back in the company as headcount, R&D funding, etc.
100,000 + job eliminated since 2017.
One of the most common excuses used by T to get rid of older employees is “job elimination.” However, that may just be an excuse for what is really age discrimination
the company is not really eliminating the job, just changing the title and putting someone younger is your former position, employees let go under the pretense of re-org..
My biggest concern is the company declares bankruptcy and / or is close enough to it to allow another company to buy it out.

Buyouts typically mean mass layoffs . . .
time to search the couch cushions and coin holders in the car to get that debt paid off.
