Thread regarding Alteryx layoffs

Polish up those Resumes!!

If you haven’t refreshed your resume, it would be advisable to do this.

Set alerts on LinkedIn to keep you apprised of new jobs that come up.

Be ready to apply immediately when you see good new jobs come up.

Proactivity and taking control of your career and professional fate is a prudent course of action. Don’t let Alteryx control your fate. They have proven not to be trustworthy and also NOT to have the best interests of employees in mind. Despite talking up a good game over the past couple of years.

Get out of the rapidly sinking Alteryx ship as soon as you can !!

Which all hands were they joking on? The all company one? Or an org-specific one?

There was an all hands earlier. How were the leaders all smiling and making jokes? Is good people being made redundant a joke? Someone needs to release this out to the media. I'm angry and upset for joining such a toxic company. These top leaders have no remorse at all. Heartless p**cks

Tech companies this size get in the cycle of hiring & firing constantly, which ones are not, maybe another small co. like AYX was 10 years ago?

Once they approach 1 billion revenue this is what you get. The focus at AYX is no longer on the product or customers, despite the lip service from executives, and they along with select employees will suffer more down the road.

If you are still on the AYX bus be ready for the next axe to fall and watch your back.

At least 20 colleagues in various departments I've talked to are indeed actively looking elsewhere, if not already beginning the interview process outright.

This is going to be a tough year, but Alteryx is going to look like a very different place a year from now once the remaining good employees go elsewhere.

The wheels are going to be coming off the Alteryx "Bus". Don't be standing when the music stops later this year and the next round of layoffs happens.
