The work-life balance at Xerox is absolutely atrocious, and what's worse, most of these poor suckers actually choose to work longer hours just to ensure they look good to the higher-ups. In a company that is on the verge of dying and that only hands out promotions to sycophants and a--kissers, how unnecessary is that?

It depends who you work for whether you have work/life balance. I had 6 weeks of vacation that I truly miss because I only have 3 weeks now. Set boundaries.

Work life balance is what you make it. You getting paid for 40 hours, work 40. I work more than that, but I absolutely love my job. That is the only reason.
Which department? I stay because of the life balance and paid vacation time. Just had a coworker come back to work for Xerox as it was bad at 2 other companies they tried before coming back.
