D-Day finalized? Another Horrible Week in Waiting

It's definitely not a smart move to keep all employees in "WORRYING" state for this long. It is 1 month plus from Wuxi asked for volunteers. All kinds of messages flooded in this forum.

Everyday I wait till 10am before starting any real work in office. Imagine my boss came to me with that letter "Thank you for your service" while I am working hard... My proud & self-esteem won't allow that from happening.

Something is not that right in this company

Has anyone heard if the people worried about DEI people will get impacted yet? These folks need to focus on their own situation first.

I just pray that some of the incompetent fools at the top - get the axe! They have screwed thousands of people’s lives and spoilt their professional careers. Hoping the God is watching! Amen.

You know you get unlimited time off right? Why not take some?

Try taking some paid time off between now and May 22nd. No point sitting around the office for nearly 2 weeks waiting on a decision.

What's the point in doing any work until we know if we're on the list? I plan to just sit at my desk and watch Netflix until 5/22 comes. Seagate doesn't care about us so why should I?

I’ll add another to prior comments that 5/22 is the day and that processing of the final list is happening now - is my understanding of the current state of things.
