Progressive, Geico, State Farm, and Liberty Mutual were all profitable with their most recent earnings. Allstate leadership is running a once great company into the ground. Allstate is outsourcing many employees to vendors and still is bleeding millions per day despite that they aren't paying severence. The company doesn't even have overhead costs for corporate offices anymore. The revenue at close to 14 billion wasn't bad last quarter but it's the expenses that are ki-ling allstate. If leadership doesn't change allstate will have to be sold in 5 years

I’ve worked for four carriers and by far Allstate had some of the d-mbest employees I’ve ever encountered. Training and talent management is clearly not a priority.
Completely agree. Even agents are admitting that they wouldn’t purchase the very product that they are selling. Virtual claim handling may be an option at some point but the technology and vendor quality is simply nowhere near where it needs to be yet. Allstate missed the mark in trying to ‘transform’ and the competitors took advantage.
Are TW and directs still flying around on a private jet? Still getting driven around by Livery service?
Watching friends lose their jobs in a tough economy while these a**hats live in their cushiony bubble infuriates me.
Eat the rich
Both State Farm & Liberty showed a slight profit in Q1 according to Forbes. Allstate lost 342 million!! Lol.
We offer a garbage product period. Homeowners are shocked every single time we send a vendor for inspections and then drag them through the mud via paying the minimum only to eventually concede to supplements. Tedious work and it is not how people would like to be treated. Auto is even worse with shops across the country refusing to accept Allstate work.
USAA has decimated our talent pool and are still sending reps to do what people are paying them to do which is to inspect and hold their hand through a difficult process.
You were warned two years ago that severance was a thing of the past. They got over on you once again. 2020 layoff was the bo-b. Never to be seen again.
State farm and liberty mutual haven't released earnings for 2023
