Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Performance is going down

They created a very tense atmosphere, the anxiety is astronomical.
Do they even realize that in such conditions the performance goes down drastically?

Here's another favourite! Since MGMT is requiring RTO, I say when you see a problem, just don't, "notice," it for a few hours. It may cost millions...Make it COST MGMT for forcing this upon us! It WILL have costs! ;) Thanks A$$holes!

@1lks+1mxWAGJf , 4 words for you " find a new job". If you don't like your current job continue to do it as well as you can and spend your free time looking for a new job that you think will be more satisfying. It really isn't a difficult problem to solve. As soon as you start looking for the new job you will probably be happier and eventually you will find one. Chances are after a while the new job will suck too after all it is just a job.

The anxiety will be much worse when you lose your job in a declining economy with little to no savings. Papa Joe won't be able to save you this time! Suck it up, Buttercup.

These are former employees who never let go and live their lives. Like a bad divorce, they alway want to take revenge.

I left with a nice CPM package in December and don't regret it at all as I know it will be 1 to 2 years of a cr-p environment with stress, brown nosing colleagues vying for every job, etc. Sorry you all have to deal with this. It will get better if ACT and SET are any indication, but it will take some time. When things do get better, invest in a side hustle or save your money as there will be other rainy days (or years) like this. Stay well.

You write that like there's something special about this layoff that makes it different from others and is making employees more tense and more anxious. This is apparently your first rodeo, so I'll help you out: they're all like this, and yes, HR and management know performance will go down.

It is amazing to me all the Karen’s/Ken’s on here. I would think you would be skilled on going to your managers rather than seeking solace here.
