Not a surprise. All the recent M&A's had been almost useless except for the acquisition of Maxtor and Samsung HDD.

Seagate isn’t a serious enough company to run something like that where the cut corners culture doesn’t work.

And it is a damn shame, should have been the future of Seagate but we were too afraid of our BIG name Drive customers to compete with their on demand storage solution to develop ours to the enterprise level. It IS the future of storage, and our dropping prices on drives sold, and number of drives sold, only highlight that no one wants our drives. They want our drives to hold more, and last longer so they don't have to buy as many.

If we give up on Storage as a Solution, we give up on our future....
