Thread regarding Belk layoffs

Very few people of color in Belk executive positions

Look at Belk’s executive leadership chart. Above Store Managers, very few people of color. Almost all Caucasian females and white males. The culture of good ol’boys and girls, still alive and well at Belk? It seems so.

AA talent is heavily recruited?

Well, Don Hendricks’s
considers himself AA talent, why is he still with Belk and Sick o Moore. ??

Why would a up and coming African American executive touch a failing company with a ten foot poll? AA talent is heavily recruited and Belk is failing.

How would they know if you're game? I don't think I've ever seen a box to check on a job application 🤔

As long as Sycamore Partners Hedge Fund company owns Belk and running the business the way they like it and making money, nothing will ever change at Belk company or its dirty personal policy or its politics politics ! It is what it is. It is not what you know but who knows you at Belk. The fish rots from the head down. Change must come from the top and not from bottom. The correct question is do you think all Belk CEOs in the past seven losing years and heavy in debts at Belk right now like Lisa Harper, Nir Patel or current Don The Con Hendricks are high quality, highly intelligent or highly creative individual and qualified CEOs? You know the true colors answer by now but don’t want to ask!
