You could sneeze around here and have a $40 per hour job by the time someone said bless you. There's 2 openings per unemployed. Seagate better be very careful who they let go of. They will never come back.

There's literally record demand in the MSP area for engineers, techs, operators, and even engineering managers. There's a lot of people who have retired or gone home. Yep, so don't worry too much about getting laid off here. Most people I know affected by the last years of layoffs are happily employed elsewhere and are doing very well and even getting promoted. Most of them never want to work for Seagate again.
