I have heard of new lay offs on multiple business units (including mine) but not about "company wide"

Have you not heard of layoffs in DCAI and CCG . These are two big businesses of Intel
Keeping the layoffs on the down low and business by business unit basis. The lack of transparency is breathtaking.
This has the very undesirable outcome of keeping everyone on the edge of their chair while also disappointing investors because Intel isn't cutting enough compared to all of the other tech companies.
