When the PC came along, Intel was at the front of the curve.
When internet took off, Intel had a play with ethernet
When mobile came along, Intel tried and missed it over and over.
Each of these waves were bigger then the last in terms of technology opportunities.
Now we have AI and it will be even bigger and innovation will be faster than the internet ramp. Intel is not the place to be for this activity. Any of you who is technically competent, consider this opportunity before you throw your last ounce of passion and energy into the Intel IFS 'moonshot'.
We are headed into an economic downturn of massive proportions, but out of the dust will be new era. It will be painful but considering leaving your current path, going to school or learning online about AI. Explore new ideas, start a new company or join one that is on the wave. Yes, this will require sacrifice on your part. However, in my experience letting go of what is comfortable at the right time is rewarded more than you imagine going into it. AI changes everything.
