Guess I didn't get laid off this round.. I'm upset. Free me, let me gooooooooooooooooo!!!!
@@3nfi+1msDg2Go "Heard" that these most recent rounds of RIFs was planned ~6 months ago. Lots going on that culminated to what just happened . New senior leaders, their new direction & strategies, reorgs/restructuring due to new acquisitions onboarding & resource merging. There may be more than this but this is plenty imho. Clean your respective houses & start all over. Rinse & repeat. So in answer to your question, I believe they (or most of them) knew. Fyi, I didn't survive this last round, but managed to lived thru 5 RIFs in the past. Sorta glad it's over for me - so much less stress!
@1qkj+1msDg2Go There was a hierarchical reporting change at the beginning of April for a few of us. Do you think the managers had a heads up on this or was this layoff out of the blue?
GM is pure evil
CPM=Clinical Program Manager?
Several team lead and higher were laid off from Optum Utilization Management under William Johnson.
What is CPM?
One director, CPMs and team leads. Total of 14. It’s a sh*t show. The head of UM flop sweated his way through the meeting. He had to end it 7 min early bc he couldn’t take the heat. What’s so funny is he needs to look at his predecessors….all gone. He’ll be gone within the year.
Were the layoffs across all departments or just ops?
Yeah, about 100 of us were blindsided in a meeting this morning. Amy Wright read a script—to all with the microphone and chat option turned off…. Then said “this decision is final, you can hang up now”….such an unprofessional way to communicate this to everyone. Meanwhile our 400 peers were in another meeting at the same exact time being read another script by Michelle Miller “boo boo we have to reduce staff”
… way to go Optum leaders: Amy Wright, Glenda Maddron & minion directors….The people that deserve to stay are laid off while you keep your buddies and other sorry excuses for management and staff….
All will reveal itself when your “Leadership towers” begin to collapse and eventually will come crashing down on all of you!
Nurses and supervisors laid off d/t low inventory. Of course we have low inventory everything is being sent offshore.
I was in OMNI until today. They will rebrand as ECS.
CCR is clinical coverage review department also know as prior authorization. There was about 100 nurses including some supervisors for the nurses that were laid off.
Havent' heard anything about Optum Rx. They actually just got some more people from CH?
Many mobile developers were laid off.
What is CCR? Hundreds laid off? Please elaborate.
I haven’t heard of hundreds being laid off in RX. It’s been quiet all day. What departments?
Leave Optum tech as fast as you can, the culture has gone from mediocre to worse with not many high integrity leaders left
If there were hundreds laid off in RX, what parts? Why are we not hearing about that on this forum?
I heard 14 from Behavioral tangling from team leads to director level.
Which director on Optum Rx got hit?
Optum RX is hit hard, hundreds laid off.
OMNI impacted - several layoffs today.
