@OP+1ms6sLDI Has never been redundancy at operator level before so you must be Senior Supervisor or higher. Meaning you never put in 12 hours hard graft in your life.
Left that place years ago got redundancy. To be fair everywhere since was worse but the money when I left was great. Cr-ppy pay when you lot are paid off I can't wait to see what u think it's like working in the real world. Too many boys taking the job for a ride sick every year. Enjoy these threads now though. Yous are in for a shock when u have to do some actual work.
Why not just use the word operators? Nobody calls themselves a manufacturing specialist. That was just management changing your job title to seem like its more important and more skilled than operator but with the same cr-ppy wages.
The 1995 Disability Discrimination Act was brought in exactly for situations like this ,so employers couldn't use a person's disability as an excuse to terminate a person's contract or put them on redundancy.
