I would leave this place if only I could get something better. Problem is that I don't have transferable skills to get a better opportunity somewhere else.
Unfortunately, my skills have atrophied while working here to a point where I'm no longer marketable. I don't think I'm the only one in this situation?

Do you have a strong work ethic? Can you diagnose and have a strong logical thought process? These skills can be transferred to just about anything and 90% of people out there don't have any of what I just mentioned. That's sad but that's today's job market.
Xerox is the Hindenburg. You might survive, but you’ll have to jump 17 stories through flaming hydrogen gas, and then roll out of the way as the superstructure and molten outside skin comes down on top of you.
Best of Luck 🤞
Posted before. Insane salesmorons trying to troll other sales mo--ns. You’re all selling printers. Cr--s in a bucket.
I'm going on the notion that you are not a troll. But it really depends what you do. My new company really liked the fact that I worked at Xerox. Xerox offers continual learning. Most of it forced, but continual. Use that training resource to brush up on basic skills. But there are soft skills that are really needed at other companies, critical thinking, problem solving, inventory, project management, billing. You can very often jump to a client or a vendor. Again, it really depends what you do exactly. Xerox doesn't exactly pay well and their benefits are meh, so it would honestly be difficult to do worse. After a recruiter told me that they couldn't place me because they didn't really know what I did, I had someone help me with my resume and they pointed out that I had A, B and C. Things that are Xerox-only can be related to equivalent software out there. So look up the Xerox-only skills that you have and see what the equivalents are. Then when you see a job that asks for that other software, you can say "I don't have that, but I worked on this and it works very similarly so I'm sure I can pick it up easily." Focus on what you do have.
Dear Diary- why is xrx such a useless stock? Why oh why could n’t xrx open up the dividend throttle and unlock some shareholder value! It’s not like profitability will ever be found through revenue again. Hmmm, maybe the corporate ai Java chat bot trolls will become sentient and complete PARC’s hydrogen energy project via igen and UV coater combo.

Stay at Xerox. They are going places. The question is, are you going with them???!
Dear Diary- why am I such a useless troll? Oh yeah, because I have nothing else to live for except obsess about a company that doesn’t want me.
