Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

CSL and RCL salaries

How much do these tend to be?

From what I’ve heard.

CSL-$95-120
RCL- $150-200

My CSL makes $110K a year but his gambling habits cost him $135K a year.

I made 85k as a csl on the Nat Gen side of the house…

Not worth it.

Lower than competitors much like all other roles here…
And a lot more work! I spent a year in a csl role and got out as fast as I could. Headcounts are insane and they no longer allow them to travel to their reports to tweak their poor performers. It was an absolute nightmare. Didn’t help that the adjusters they were bringing in were nowhere near qualified.

Does it really matter at this point….
Those jobs will not exist in a few years as a “parent company” fills backfills any leadership role with people that they know and are comfortable with… All in line with preparing for a sale of this company where Allstate will be a little subsidiary of some large parent company…
This has been the plan along…The only thing that will be valuable is the “brand” not the company itself.
A huge fall for the once second largest carrier in the country which prided itself on innovation…
Looking forward to the announcement of the size of the loss this evening. Tom Wilson and his leadership team is a failure…same MO and BS that was pulled with Sears with the same result coming…….
Tommy sure did “transform” this company….not something to be proud of….
But he and the demons surrounding him leave very very wealthy…..the only goal that matters to them…
