The departure of some people who were never replaced has had a big impact on me and my work. However, the manager is not interested in the fact that I am now in a very unenviable situation because my work has become much more difficult. He is only interested in everything being done within very short deadlines, although considering the situation, it is unrealistic to expect that. The only option left for me was to leave.

He probably wants you to quit so he achieves his attrition goal.
