Basically, I'm aware that most people would have left this a long time ago if they weren't afraid to start over. There are better opportunities out there. To those who have lost their job and are looking for a new one in a panic, it may not mean much but I really don't know a single person who hasn't found a much better job after this one. Everyone I know speaks of significantly better opportunities after their experience here.

When you are female over 55, have worked for the same company for decades, it is very difficult to find a job unless you want to do traditional retail.
As managers we touch on many many skills, we wear tons of hats, but we are not seen as experienced in anything other than retail.
I have been looking for months and have found nothing close to what I was making.
Not close enough to retirement.
In each end there is a new beginning and in each new beginning there is an end.
