Thread regarding USAA layoffs

May 29

"By May 29, leaders will determine which NMC roles/teams will receive an exception to remain remote"
So they are going to ask entire teams to RTO even if some of the team is over 60 miles away?

How anyone is still proud of working here, I don’t know. Some of us waited for years to get an interview and hired only to find that what we thought was THE best employer to work for actually is just smoke and mirrors. I equate this to buying a car that turned out to be a lemon. I’m only sticking around to get (hopefully) one bonus before I leave.

Please read the details. Please. It’s in the fine print. You can tie all of the RTO back to 2020 in a Dec employee meeting.

They are clear in the employee announcement. Remote roles will be reviewed periodically and will exceptions may be made based upon market and business needs.

Just pay attention.

There are some teams that aren't highly collaborative that will be allowed to remain remote. Yes, they are asking entire teams to RTO and individuals can get exceptions.
