If the group is who I think, the central team has a history of being bought and sold by larger companies going back to the 1990s.
“Had enough”(really?..LOL).
Nobody is forced to come here.
Rumors it’s were it’s at since only crickets from upstairs.
They should sell what will has any limited value. How about getting rid of that SDD hobby?
Everything people post on here is a rumor and starts with just heard you have no evidence stop with the rumors for one day have a day off from gossip.
Systems group was never fully accepted by Seagate HDD zealots. Did not understand the team and what they had. So typical, by System like companies and then destroy them. Glad I retired from all of this.
Cash crunch. When you can't sell what you want, you sell what you can.
Doubt it. But if that's the case, we are in a downward spiral.
You sell the division which was the only one to make money because that is the only part of Seagate's business that other companies were willing to buy.
"Being purchased" means they would have a buyer.
I doubt it but anything is possible nowadays...
What does this group do?. Who is the buyer?
Why would they sell the only division that was in the green last quarter? Smells like wishful thinking. I'll give ya that!
Nice! How much money could be made if we sold D.I.E. team?
