We are winning bigly on Modern Workplace our anchor offering in the essential evolution

Winning bigly. Modern Workplace revenue Q4FY23 $457M down 10% ($50M) from the $507M in Q4FY22. Second worst result of the business lines, only ahead of the perennial boat anchor, Cloud, Infrastructure & ITO.

What happened to Modern Workplace that allows remote work to just like working in an office? Guess we are telling our customers that another offering doesn’t work

Just to clarify, the policy of working three days per week in the office applies specifically to Managers. It will be the responsibility of Managers to coordinate with their teams and encourage some members to come into the office when it is feasible. However, a challenge arises as some Managers are located in one region while their teams are situated in other regions, leading to potential collaboration limited to their peers only.

It is definitely a profitable region - so probably getting the guys back to office (like most other companies have come to realize) would be a good strategy and that may also be a an opportunity for a spinoff.

I thought DXC was virtual 1st and with the so called modern work place. Now we are going to tell our customers that our offering modern workplace really doesn’t work. what fools we have at the top

dont think the original poster meant working just 3 days per week, they meant working in the office a mandatory 3 days a week, despite the clear unpopularity of this move
Seelan has been ranting about the lack of use of Macquarie Park office space for years going all the way back to DXC formation 6 years ago - and has been ignored by most staff

The only way DXC would reduce your workday to 3 days is if you can accept a 50% pay cut.
