Fall Rush

All I can say is wait until Fall Rush, these new hires will be like rats jumping off a sinking ship. Fall Rush is not for the faint of heart.

Why would you take such abuse? My answer would be- you are in charge - figure it out?
Or Ki$$ my bottom!
I guess these are the kind of people JRC see as the future of their business?

@pxw+1mp8igDj: Booohoooo!! A lot of people lost their jobs today, so who cares that you got a new store manager that is an a--hole. Do your job the way you know how to do it. The bi--h fires you collect unemployment and be on your way.

I can’t even imagine. What kind of PR is that to bring in? That store will fail and it seems like that’s the goal. Your team would be better off at McDonald’s. 😕 Yikes. Who the heck did they send in???

Fall rush? Our new store manager started today and she is so awful and spiteful and mean on her first day that every employee cried. She said horrible things to people. She wanted the cashiers to stop “buying all these books, we have too many.” It’s rentals due date today. They were checking in books. It’s also first day of summer semester and the new manager wanted “all this sh-t off the shelves. Just get rid of it all.” We explained that it was online orders. “Today is the first day of class. If they haven’t gotten their books yet then they are not coming in to get them. Get rid of them.” Told an employee that they have 1 week to send all these back stock books out. “I’m not carrying all of this extra inventory.” We have literally sent out everything and have nothing with valid invoices to send back on and she wasn’t having any of it. “I said one week.” I truly believe that my store will be out of employees by the end of the week. Really. The end of the week. I think they will all quit. And I did my best to convince them that everything would be okay and now they are all crying on just the first day. My store and my team that I built for years will be destroyed in a week and I am devastated.
