Remember when USAA used to be ranked as one of the best employers in the nation. I'd entertain your thoughts as to why it's changed.

I worked in Corporate Comm back in the day and the reason why we made those lists is because we had to create the packet to submit to Forbes or Inc to get considered for it. These magazines don’t automatically choose you. You apply for it and submit a multi-page report on whammy you deserve it. With all of the cuts, I’d be surprised if there are any Corp Comm folks left to work on that.
Thats because the firm has been infiltrated by a bunch of id--ts that worked at big banks (and failed at their jobs). They bring these mo--nic big bank policies to a more employee friendly workplace and ruin it. This place isnt bank of america but they act like it is. Sad thing is they failed at their jobs at the big banks but being a slave driver is all they know so as long as someone gives them a job they will continue to do the same thing over and over. For instance why on earth would back office paper pushers need to be in office 4 days a week unless you just want to keep your boot on their throat?
It started with Stuart and him placing the blame on frontline msr’s for all the regulatory issues. Then Wayne came and in and said hold my beer, and he’s just ki-led morale, let’s not even start on his failed EMG hires. He’s done what Bob Davis has done, only he’s done it in half the time. USAA won’t improve until Wayne has a gut check and a bit of decency to resign immediately. But that $5million yearly salary will keep him here at least another 2 years.
