Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Any updates on Solidigm / NSG / SK situation?

No clarity from leadership. Is there any light at the end of the tunnel?

Solidigm just laid off about 10% of its workforce today. I agree on the returning back to Intel part, my old contacts don't have may openings with similar pay.

It was a shitstorm with Rob and Sr management at Solidigm ba----g heads with SK management. After Rob "left" and nobody was fighting for the US workforce, the logical outcome is an implosion in the US.

Oh, and SK doesn't get the fab for another 3+ years.

Lots of opportunities to return to Intel, I know of many who have, but also an opportunity for a career reset.

Take your time, you have a year if you want thanks to how the deal was written. Hynix will need people to run the factory so if you like the culture/structure you can find ways to stay. Always opportunity within chaos, weigh your options and be decisive and don't look back.
