Does anyone have any insights on what went down at the board meeting? Did it even happen? This place is unusually quiet.

BOD agreed to rename corporate jet to " Air Frost One".
Frosty asked for more generals to lead her golden army.
A suggestion to all at STST from an ex-worker; stop getting hooked onto STST with unrealistic hopes for survival....none of you are are going to survive there...from now onwards the road to "HAMR" is rocky......they have already shipped HAMR drives using external components (you know what I mean)...and this is never going to be cost effective......the "component" at STST is nowhere near a repeatable or a volume manufacturable stage....having said this: I think the declining cost per terabyte within the HDD market and the strides in SSD will be a the premature death of our beloved queen of the town "HAMR". What do you all expect the CEO to say? That HAMR is going to be the sure-short death? do you want him to mess up with investor confidence?????. Hope you all see it now. Just stop and look for opportunities elsewhere...

CEO reiterated amazing success of HAMR - Board applauded
CFO spoke how great he is and asked for approval for more stock buy back - Board applauded
CTO went into his meaningless talk about pinwheels - Board fell asleep
CHRO spoke highly about the training VP, the comms VP, the Benefits VP, the systems VP, the chief-of-staff VP, the Sill VP and the VP of VPs - Board asked to hire more VPs
The board then went into private time and discussed how to work around the US governments restrictions and do business with China.
They all then had many $500 bottles of wine and Italian food. There you go.....
That's how it is every quarter you minions !
Better to focus on your family and what’s best for your family. Why focus on work when 1 in 4 are about to get axe? Lately I’ve been cleaning my office of all my personal items just to be efficient should the need arise. (Focus on your work)? No thanks Heavy D! aka the CEO!

Another major concern is why they need IT in Singapore and SRC. IT personnel are unwilling to accept challenges or put up additional effort. Seems there is a discussion on closure or move ….
