Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Voice surveys?

Are these ever coming back? Management has zero accountability with these no longer in play. My manager has been literally the worst I have had in my professional career, and it’s been that way since they announced they put voice surveys on hold. I used to praise Allstate even during transformative growth layoffs, saying as much as it sucks it needed to happen, but the naysayers were right. This company is a lost cause.

I'm sorry but what are Voice surveys? Are you referring to the non-anonymous Barometer survey thing they send out or maybe that's just what it's called in my area. Thanks for explaining not sure I've ever even taken a Voice survey.

We got an online survey last week regarding employee feedback and thoughts of how things are going. All this after gutting most of our department out to a vendor and with morale being about as low as it can possibly be. Either the clowns running this company are totally inept or they are doing this on purpose hoping they can entrap people into terminating, or they get their rocks off on seeing underlings miserable and hopeless. I think it is a nice combination of all three. This poor excuse for a company really has gotten really really sick.

Their “Voice” surveys have been replaced by the droves of voluntary terminations that they don’t have the decency to tell you about. You look up coworkers and POOF they’re gone. That’s how you know the result of a voice survey ! Brahahahaha. No goodbye thank you email nadda. The only ones you know of that leave are the ones on your team or if you have connections on the outside. It’s blatantly obvious they don’t give two sh--s about any of the employees. The voice surveys are not returning. Neither are the American employees. It’s been sweet for Allsnake that everyone is wfh. Easier to hide what the big picture is. No explanations and no surveys how management is doing. They don’t care what the grunts think. Get over your delusions that they do.

If it does come back, please don’t take the survey in anger. Remember that this job is your livelihood. If your manager isn’t happy, nobody will be happy. Let’s make it a good day. A quitter never wins and a winner never quits.
