Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

Workday is revealling

Ever look at the organizational trees in workday and click on the higher-ups to see their past experience. Almost no one in positions of power at WFM had any sort of education or business experience whatsoever. Sure some have worked in multiple wfm departments but most are way in over their heads. What other company runs like this?

Nearly every executive at Whole Foods is a Store Team Leader who was fast tracked for -enter reason- with no experience in any aspects of business operation other than their brief stint as a store team leader.

It makes perfect sense why there is a re-org every single year and why this entire organization is all “leaders” and no workers.

I recently switched companies and it was shocking looking back at how insanely dysfunctional whole foods is managed from the top down. Nothing works.
