Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

CRC the truth behind the position

The reason why USB titled CRC was do the the staggering employees that left to a competing bank for better pay. Review the retention numbers for bankers with USB. The worst of any bank. That's why they changed the name. So competing banks would think less of you based on your banker title. If you have any drive to move up in the company being a CRC is as low as a teller position in any bank. Any bankers who want to move forward beware USB has no development process in place for internal promotions or career development. You are nothing but a number to USB. Those of you who transfer to USB will so find out the truth. Remember you read it here first.

CRC is a teller role with more responsibility and no sales.

They want you to refer to partners like teller referrals.

No incentive for selling .

This is a teller position!

As someone who worked for US Bancorp for years I disagree with this assessment. Not a fan of the executive leadership currently but I saw many bankers/crc’s move up to management positions in my time there. It just takes hard work and sales ability. Those two ingredients will get you promoted in any organization even USB.

As a seasoned USB employee I can attest this to be the truth. Wow! Brutally honest assessment!
