Wayne and the BOD know that they have most employees by the ba--s. They know majority cannot afford to go looking for new remote jobs, and will use that as a fear monger, especially with the current job market. This isn’t the great resignation from 2021 where for the first time in recent memory, employees NOT employers had the leverage. And with EJS gone, and the Post being nonexistent, Wayne has been able to silence the employees. The rest of 2023 will not be fun, as every employee will be fearful of losing their job and the BOD will ignore that morale is dead because Wayne has and will continue to cut expenses and line their pockets with money. These next 18 months will be very challenging as Wayne has the blessing of the BOD to rule with an iron fist and that’s exactly what he will do. He will strip USAA down to its core, then and only then, will the BOD realize they can no longer have employee morale dead, and to save face since he made them money, they’ll say Wayne has elected to “spend more time with his family,” and the new CEO will be the one tasked with improving morale on the fly.

Wayne is eating all of the fully loaded nachos. All the ones with the meat, cheese and every thing. The ones that are fully loaded. He’s hogging them, so I’m mostly getting getting like JUST chips. Like mostly JUST chips. Like nothing on them, but a little bit of cheese and one little nugget of meat. Can the BOD say something to him? Maybe go up to his table and say “hey, stop that!”. Just say the BOD has this rule that one person just can’t eat all of the fully loaded nachos.
He beats Bob Davis by a big margin !!
I just moved all my money to another bank. I’m calling this out in my pulse feedback that as long as Wayne is around, my money won’t be at USAA. It won’t matter to exe but makes me happy.
Drat it to heck! These scoundrels and their antics sure do irk me! Permission to go home, lie down and watch some TV, and rest up so my face isn’t beet red for my family photo tonight?
All of this was the long game for a while - it's why Syring left. He was the next man up and didn't want to deal with the fall out of all of this mess.
