Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

LP resigning rubs me the wrong way.

A legal expert leaves just as the mutual arbitration agreement drops.

2018: "Pastor will oversee all of Xerox’s legal affairs, including legal aspects of the company’s various strategic initiatives, and lead the company’s corporate security and government-related and public policy activities on domestic and international affairs."

"best of luck in your future endeavors" is corporate for don't let the door hit you.

Pastor knows where all of the bodies are buried, $50K a month is payment by Carl to keep them buried.

It is interesting that Xerox is going to pay LP $50,000 a month for the next 12 months as a consultant, but he will not perform any legal functions.

Icahn Enterprises is being sued by Hindenberg Research (ironically, another activist investor) and my guess is that LP is going back to help defend the "home" turf. The timing is just too coincidental.

LP seemed like the best of the Icahn bunch. The rest are shysters

He is 35 years old and makes $3M a year. Trust me LP is doing just fine. He is on his own plan and path.

He came here from Icahn's investment capital group. Sounds like maybe Icahn is yanking him before everything crumbles here.
