I have absolutely no explanation why this company looks favorably on slackers. They totally ignore the negative effects that slackers have on hard working employees.

You at least have that right scooter, every agency leader, area VP, and on up to the C suites are all super awesome at telling agents how to spend money, how many hundreds maybe thousands of Ao5 contract agents have they forced into bankruptcy and divorce by telling them how to staff, market, what office to lease ect. I will tell you what, most could not make it as agents despite what they tell you, they certainly are the last people I would listen to when it comes to maximizing profit At my agency. For the most part they are full of BS. They earn bonus based on what you produce, see the conflict there? As for fellow agents, not sure who your peer group is but I will tell you sooner or later you will come the the conclusion that running you agency with an eye on the bottom line is the only way to financial success, The sooner you realize that the more profitable you will be. How many different lines of business have you seen rolled out and then canned, let’s see, SF bank, mutual funds, fortis products, Phoenix alliance, long term care, variable products. The list is long, we train, license and never seem to make much money at them, hey, maybe pet insurance will make a difference to your bottom line, Meanwhile our core products, auto, home, life are mediocre and overpriced. Bottom line, I have been top top the heap agency and filled a dumpster with awards the last time I remodeled my office, they are not worth the time and effort, I choose to run a super profitable agency, own my office take very good care of a smallish but super competent team and laugh all the way to the bank. By the way I’m a Midwest agency but do love my place in Naples. As to what you think, we’ll as the man likes to say ZERO FKS GIVEN, but you go ahead and rock on dude.
No one in agency would consider an absentee agent a success. Not your fellow agents certainly. Chuck Wright would be rolling in his grave and Ed Rust and Rand Harbert would consider you part of the problem, not the agency solution. Your attempt at deflection just underscores you know what you are doing is not respected, by your customers, fellow agents or agency leadership. I know. I am an agent and I have the integrity to live in my customers community and serve them personally. I don’t hide in Boca or wherever and claim my staff is better than me. In your case that may be true.
Oh boy, scooters got himself a little ha---n., I am not all that old, just started young in the business and worked hard enough to build something that I now am able and certainly entitled to reap the benefits financial and otherwise from, no shame here. My clients selected my office environment to do business with and yes they are very comfortable and some even prefer to interact with my team, so what? Do you have any idea how an agency even works? People in life tend to make it to the level they deserve based on skill set, intelligence and work ethic. I am a respected member of my community, sit on many boards and I have mentored many other agents in my metro area both SF and others. Have I created wealth beyond what I ever thought possible? Yes, so what? I did not steal it, I earned it. Here is a thought for you snowflake, although I am not optimistic you will embrace it as it involves lots of hard work, go apply for an agency, there are hundreds now open, let’s see if you could hack it for more than a couple weeks. You could even hire your mommy to make your fruity pebbles for lunch.
Wow the truth struck a nerve. Your clients didn’t select your staff-they selected you. And you have given them the middle finger. You are an embarrassment to the agency force. Most agents are excellent. They care about their customers and provide them personal expertise. Most are are highly visible in their communities. You on the other hand are just a selfish, spoiled old man living off the logo and reputation everyone else created. If more agents were like you the company would fold.
Wrong again, it’s not about personally meeting with every single client, mo--n, it’s about building a high-performance team fully licensed and trained with awesome people skills to take care of the clients. Heck, most clients don’t wanna be bothered with meeting with an agent anyway. Trust me we call thousands of clients a year. But they do want to know that they’re in good hands and will be well taken care of if they need some help. That’s what we do. And yes, we are paid very very well to do it. maybe between Scooby Doo cartoons, you pull up a business video or two. Then you can maybe have a coherent conversation on customer service. I bet you’re one of the weenies in claims that hangs up on clients every time they get a question they don’t know how to answer and don’t want to deal with.
@4krg. 400K with 375K in expenses. Thats why you are still an agent and not retired like most normal people. All show with no substance "premium boy!"
World champion agent slacker here, I retired 20 years ago just have not given my notice yet, still cleared over 400k last year. Tell me why you care? Now get back to work snowflake.
Anyone else find MTs last message a little strange?
"Yoh pretty ladies around the world
Got a weird thing to show you,
So tell all the boys and girls.
Tell your brother, your sister
And mama too, cause they're
About to go down
And you'll know just what to do.
A word up!"
I can say over the long period of time I worked for SF I dont think I ran into 10% at most that ever put in one day of hard work in their entire life and I would include that 10% all the way up through the ranks because at SF work ethic and production has always been frowned upon since work ethic doesnt feed the fat lazy goose who lays the eggs.
Which departments are all these slackers in?
nothing new
