Yes, we were told layoffs are done, but I don't trust this management anymore. Plus, if the next round is in a month or two, they can always say the all-clear was for this specific layoff, and that's all. I don't think I'll be able to properly relax and stop thinking about potentially being cut for a while.

If the business doesn’t hit Q2 numbers, there will be more layoffs. They will restructure in the meantime hoping to cut costs and streamline as much as possible, but the reality is that those who were not laid off are going to be straddled with increased workload.
We are definitely not going to hit numbers. Even some managers have said so. It’s a somber mood here. But we are trying. If layoffs do occur again. Then they will most likely be in June.
We do have a services capability with some very talented people. Unfortunately it’s not fully utilised as they don’t go looking to sell services like our competitors do. The focus has always been on selling hardware/software.
Wonder what the actual business effect will be long-term...
The more talented employees are already looking at vendor roles and other VAR's.
People convinced themselves to take lower pay at CDW for "stability" but that is now gone. If you're gonna walk on egg shells, might as well do it where you get paid more.
The all-clear is for this quarter ONLY. If business doesn't increase and 2Q results are bad, there will be more. Coming from a VP.
CDW is a procurement engine, they sell printers, no services capability
VP of small bus today couldnt reassure if there wouldnt be anymore layoffs in the future. Were not going to hit numbers so. Keep that in mind.
