Ridicilously low percentages, time to strike. Join labour unions in your countries and go for it.

Reply to Does it really just keep getting worse?
Effective date is May 1, meaning will show first pay next month. Now If your boss has not told you, doesn’t mean no raise. I have a boss that tells me nothing and it appears. Nice person, bad hr skills.
Canuck too.

In past years salary increases were effective May 1 (at least in Canada where I am). Also, my manager would meet with me for a few minutes ahead of that date even just to tell me I'm getting nothing.
I'm interested in your thoughts on whether May 1 is indeed the singular date for increases (especially if you're a manager who knows the actual answer to this), and also if we haven't heard anything by end of day Friday 28 April, it means we're getting nothing.

my team - was told to take the $, and allocate to the top 3 staff the remaining 6 got 0.
SVP decided only top 2-3 performers got increases, as the pool of money was too small for proper increases given rate of inflation in most geos.
If staff do not like it, they can 'look elsewhere' for a job.
so - 0 for me personally B10
grew revenue, but not enough so deemed to have a growth opportunity - no $$$ for me.

Some years ago, in the latter days of my stay at IBM, my organization within GTS had a policy of not increasing anybody's pay past the midpoint of their pay band. I'm not sure if this was done just in my organization or the whole division, but that was the policy.
This resulted in all sorts of weird effects...effects that for all I know may still be around in the present day. Some employees got "stuck" at the midpoint in their band and were eventually RAd (too long in band), while other employees got promotions that didn't make a whole lot of sense...just to give them more pay so they'd stick around. There were people in, for example, band 9 positions doing the work of a band 8 or even band 7. It didn't make a whole lot of sense back then, and for all I know it still doesn't.
