In-depth and clear indictment of the top two guys. This is grounds for dismissal with the possibility of time being served. Lets be clear, this is the reason the employees are having to take a salary cut.

"“I don’t see any particular restriction for us in terms of being able to continue to ship to Huawei or any other customers in China,” Gianluca Romano, Seagate’s chief financial officer, said in September 2020."

"The company at the time told investors it didn’t believe it needed a license to continue selling to Huawei. It later entered a three-year cooperation agreement with the Chinese company, making it Huawei’s sole provider of hard disk drives."

WDC legal advised their execs this was not allowed by US law and they watched quarter after quarter share loss as a result. They also think even with the fine STX made money. Now let us see if STX ships to Dahua in violation of DoC ruling.

" I don't understand why the board is doing nothing about this. What do they have to gain...or lose? "

The BOD and shareholders are beholden to the dividend that has slowly sapped the R&D out of this company last several years. They are bought and paid for and will only act if someone starts connecting them personally with bad news (like the China sales.)

The operations guy is strictly that, the operations guy. His job is to keep the factories running and not be the one to grade the validity of orders. You obviously are clueless or have something against Nygaard.

That the CFO, CEO & Head of Sales who are THE responsible parties here stay but the operations guy who made sure the factories were running and manufacturing product through the pandemic so these cronies can sell it to China does not is the most disappointing news from this week. Ugh.

Lets just please do what is right. Its time to 'respectfully' show Gianluca the door. The longer Dave waits the worse his credibility and the board's competence. I don't understand why the board is doing nothing about this. What do they have to gain...or lose?
