Seems anything that is real but uncomfortable for the company is shut down on layoffs.com. Time to go elsewhere???

There is no slack channel.
The Slack group is better because it keeps out the horrible trolls. You will not get in without a referral.
Instead of wasting time on insulting others with younger and older categorizations, why not just offer useful information to all of us about how to access this special, super-secret Slack group (unless your objective really is to continue feeding your ego by holding on to some semblance of power over others by withholding that info)?
@bty, well the younger people actually know how to use the internet, so there's that.
Once you are in the Slack group you will understand why by it can’t be posted here. Trusted members only.
Just tell us the slack info already. I searched chevron and cvx and got no results
CVX is not involved in the slack channel, that's what makes it better. Plenty of people at work have the app on their phone and know the channel. Just ask around.
Cvx doesn’t use slack
Please explain about the Slack channel? How is it accessed.
Much better discussion in the Slack group.
What's lame is so many Chevron employees use a layoff site as their company gossip site when there are so many others, as stated already. The idea itself is so pathetic that it's literally entertaining to watch, in a multi-car accident kind of way.
What’s the new site to go to?
The younger employees have been whooping it up on a couple other sites for years, with a lot more gossip and actual names involved. Much richer.
If something gets deleted it’s because one of the site rules was violated, not because of Chevron, they have no more influence over it than any of us.
And this forum board has less rules then the average kindergarten. Just don’t post names and don’t curse or insult others and your post will stick.
I see plenty of negative topics that have not been deleted
