I guess it's easy for Nygaard to say that when he has all that stock and options.
What layoffs? How many? When has it been announced?
Nygaard was big on layoffs..."It's a necessary part of a healthy business" he once said. I guess Seagate just became very healthy without him!!!
Surely if they are planning to lay off a significant number of folks in CA by they'll have to give notice earlier than may 22. Like may 1st or so.
Is the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion group safe from RIF? I'm an essential Senior analyst and just wondering if my job is safe!
Yup. I’d say the odds are pretty high that many of those interns whose dates were pushed are gonna get an email on May 22 yanking their internships, too. Probably w no compensation for leases signed, travel expenses already paid, etc. And lost summer wages. It’ll be too late to find something new.

Well it makes sense why internship start dates were pushed from May 22nd to the 30th. My bet is it’s May 22nd.
Before pay cuts are enabled.
Q2 8% layoff announced on 26 Oct, executed on 8 Nov. Based on this, Q3 layoff announced on 20 Apr, execution date should be in the first week of May
Figure still finalizing. Should be mid of May, need to be executed before end of June
