I'm not sure who made the decision on who to lay off, but I can say with certainty that they made several major mistakes. We lost some excellent folks today whose absence will be felt, that's for sure. It feels like sometimes the management can't see the forest for the trees.

No accountability for those Leaders and many in mid-Management that play a good act of being knowledgably and competent. Their arrogant attitude of being, "Unstoppable" is catching up to CDW might just be the downfall of the organization.
They did the same thing in 2020. They laid off good people who were older and higher paid and then promoted younger lower paid individuals into management positions. I wonder how many bonuses the executives declined to take then and now.
I think we lost a LOT of people with a LOT of knowledge. Still sifting through the wreckage. Not my first layoff rodeo, but this one feels really different, and not in a good way.
They got rid of someone who literally has a ton of knowledge..big mistake. That team is gonna SUFFER.
