Allstate will drop the big “surprise” on associates when you least expect it. Just like they did in2020 after they told everyone you have nothing to worry about and we’re all going to stick this pandemic out together blah blah blah and then they laid off thousands of people just a few months later. The lesson in ALL of these posts, is that Allstate is not out to preserve your job and help you grow as an associate. They are offshoring and going with AI and self service as much as possible. Don’t be surprised when a few more months go by and you think you’re safe and happy and then out of the clear blue sky, the things foretold here happen. It may even be by phone and you’ll be locked out of your computer one morning. Do not DO NOT trust this company.

We have still heard nothing, no inkling of any of this. Unless everyone is a great actor which I doubt. Is this a hoax?

So what is allegedly happening ? Co is letting go of all staff and they will all be employees of a third party employee leasing company ? (Purpose to cut labor costs including benefits)?

What is this rumor based on anything substantial?

It's pretty much every part of Claims in some capacity from the bits going around.

The poster said by end of May. I believe them. People were skeptical last year when others here warned of layoffs and outsourcing for underwriting, agency services, and customer service and then it happened. Don't shoot the messenger for trying to warn us
