Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

There are other jobs out there

It's not like it's so hard to find another job that someone would be willing to suffer here needlessly and complain constantly.

I know several people who have been complaining for years, but they aren't doing anything to leave here. Hard to understand really.

Only the front line areas are being sold out to vendors. The vendors don't want the higher paid skilled positions as their wages are too much. There is still severance to be had outside of the high turnover front line low skill roles.

It's because of loyalty and ethics that many stay. However, when that is not given back to you it's a sure sign to go. Leadership has been instructed to treat the employees in such a way that they feel devalued. The climate now is absolutely horrible. Now knowing there will be no severance...why continue to be sp-t on??? Think of the hostile environment today as a gift and get out. It will get worse before it gets better. When you're finally out and happier, even making less perhaps, because you're treated like a human being, you will wonder why you rolled around in the cr-p so long.

Maybe they can’t bear the thought of working without the ray of sunshine known as yourself.

No. Don’t blame. Rise above. Jobs are there. You Will be better for it. Take the first step and by the way, it is for you. Never give a company that much control. If you are still there, you are.
