Why would he be pushed out? I think most cost cutting has been done already at least per management comments

I’m sure those cuts are necessary as well. Activist Investor #8 didn’t like their balance sheet so Tom AP is hoping shedding some more “human capital” will appease the investors-that-be.

So the roles that are essential to make Pearson run. Without HE Services -sales reps would be F****ed! The AM’s manage everything internally and externally with their teams and accounts, all IA, etc. The SPM’s make sure all the solutions are set up/built. What a sh-t show.
Roles under services include AMs, SPMs, TPMs, customer success and tech support.
What roles are under HE services?
Those on the "To:" line of the meeting invitation will all be RIFed. Those on the "CC:" line will get to pick up the bucket of sh-t that the RIFees used to carry in addition to the bucket they themselves already are carrying.
If your name appears on the "To:" line, now is a good time to feign a slip-and-fall in the restroom and try to parlay it into permanent disability. There, the quality of your acting is irrelevant since there won't be cameras around.
