In the last two tech all hangs, I heard statements from Rogers Directs like
"People should work in Fidelity for all great tech work and not Google, Amazon"
"Why are people joining other places for a pay hikes, and not having a great career here" (easy for a overpaid executive to say)
I am all for keeping high goals, and I understand that people in the Management roles have to say Nonsensical bullsh-t in Forums; but do these people realize how stupid they sound when they say such things. It's like they are totally out of sync and disconnected from reality. We are not even operating as tech company, the pay is below average, and culture favours non Engineers (sl, cl) more. Are these people really so disillusioned, or is that to Impress Roger, or do they think associates are fools. Surely being so senior, they should have some wisdom that they should speak somewhat believable nonsense.
