Well I guess they were right about 4/20. Been with the company 10 1/2 years with top numbers and going above and beyond with OT of at least 10 hours per week for the past week and I was still let go today! Just be aware and be ready!

The UHC proxy published last year on April 22 for YE2021. April 20 RIF seemed to help the bottom line Proxy for YE2022 (pending)? Yes, its all artificial growth it does not require "special talents" from the top to strategize up front in M&A. Simple formula to achieve so called "business objectives" year after year then hide the RIF from the press only share the "happy path" to generate higher stock values. This is not a rocket science.

@@spy+1mbRw4Fl -- Layoffs at this company have been happening once a month for the past decade (as long as I've been there). The large number of impacted ppl this month got special attention, but there have been happening in smaller waves all along. Prior to 2022, the layoff pattern was every 3rd Thursday of the month, with no layoffs in November, December and January. But in 2022 they broke their own rules and did layoffs in November and December. The November and December layoff occurred in the beginning of the month because it's logistically difficult to RIF someone so close to Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Where is this info coming from? It’s an unstable company, know this and tread with caution. Don’t trust them or put too much faith in them .

Apparently, but on the CHC side before the merge they were pushed back to the 20th. So who knows if they will get pushed back again or if it will even really happen. Is this like a monthly thing with optum or what? Seems pretty crazy that people always have to be on the edge of their seats.
