Managers are the worst because they weren't trained correctly, they don't know company policy at all. I've been with sams for 17yrs and they all have no clue.

This is so true. I was told where to go on the wire and to just follow the steps on there for MIT. No one trained me. I just read the material then hung out with different departments for about 3 weeks then was told that’s good enough and promoted to manager. There are many many times where I’ve had to go to tenured associates to ask them for help because I didn’t know. I’ve had to tell an associate I’d have to get back to them and then thoroughly research the answer before getting back to the associate because I didn’t want to give them the wrong information.
Not only that but HO managers come in and treat assistant managers as if we should know literally everything and treat us like dirt on the bottom of their shoes. Maybe if they actually trained managers it wouldn’t be such a sh-t show. I’m really hoping I can quit soon. I hate this company.
