In case we get axed or not wanting to relocate to hubs, can we apply to work at Verizon or tmobile ?

Nearly impossible. They know most At&t management employees are overpaid and underqualified with no useful skills
sad to say, but a lot of truth from @asz+1mZo5cqM
I know a lot of ex AT&T people ended up at Comcast too.
Came to AT&T from T-Mobile couple of years back. Grass is not always greener on the other side
All service providers are letting people go but not as bad as our company. So you should try but it is not going to be that easy
Good luck 👍
“Are you serious? How long you been In AT&T? What kind of new skills did you learn in the last 90 days that will make VZ or T-Mobile more successful?”
Sad and harsh but very true, what trainings did we really get in T to make the company more successful? None
Harsh words but kinda true I don’t recall getting any good training in my 20 plus years in T
Hey...@asz+1mZo5cqM ..A-hole much, would expect your a troll from another service provider...news for you what you're seeing with T is being replicated across the industry-Vz in the beginnings of a massive re-org and so is tmobile. Let's see how you post when the shoe drops on you
you may, but prepared to accept less money.
T-Mobile announced layoffs today
you can apply to
work anywhere, what a stupid question.

I have the answers for you, you didn’t learn any new skills in your long stay in AT&T just keep repeating the same sh?tt again and again
You can’t add a value to any company and the moment they see you came from AT&T they will drop your resume in the trash
Different view --- there are a lot of VZ and TMobile opportunities....a lot of AT&T folks have landed there. best of luck....
A couple of years ago it was easy. Today, it's much more difficult because their hiring has started to shrivel up. Also, Verizon is undergoing their own layoffs now, so timing isn't great.
But take heart, there's a lot of opportunity if you move beyond the big telecom/tech companies.
It’s hard. Very hard.
I don't mean to sound harsh, but kind of a ridiculous question isn't it?
Of course, you are free to apply to work wherever you'd like to.
Just be aware it's not 1997. Not a ton of opportunities at either, and they have gone through regular staff reductions as of late too.
Of course, you can apply, but I keep hearing about lay-offs at VZ too. Won't hurt to try though. It's natural to try to stay with what you know, and good at, and these companies usually like applicants with a lot of relevant experience, and working for a direct competitor is as relevant as it gets.
If you are on this site looking at AT&T, check out the boards for Verizon and other carriers. It is wash, rinse, repeat. Look for a
position outside of the telecom madness that affects all carriers. Grass is NOT greener!
Tmo is a skeleton crew. Harder to penetrate than VZ. VZ is looking for contractors. Not so much dull time workers. Both Telcos are under pressure just as much as T
