If you have something solid lined up and know you can never return, go for it. The last two weeks will just be you transitioning your work to others so endure it if you can , though. But the economy has been held up by lies for years and the reckoning is almost here. Have another boat to jump onto before you wuit

Unless you are in certain states, you will lose all banked PTO and sick leave when you depart from Anthem/Evil-ance. Take your vacation time first. If you are so repulsed by the company like many are, and you have no plans of ever returning, when you return from PTO give 5 days' notice or less and leave. I have worked at numerous companies over a long career and have never had a future employer ask me if I worked out a two weeks' notice at prior companies. Anthem/EH is doing what is best for them, you do what is best for you!

There is a 'rehire flag' that gets posted your your record. If no never plan on going back not sure it makes any difference giving 2 weeks.

You get nothing from them when you leave. No PTO payout or anything. So just go when you’re ready. They were going to automate your job or move it overseas anyway.

Honestly, I would like to give a one hour notice. Not sure if there are consequences to this.

yes! i even gave less for a manager who wasn't tracking and didn't care - HR was on board so I cut it short to 7 business days - don't lose an opportunity to start a new job for a customary 2-week notice - especially if they are not having you train anyone
